What kind of events and parties does Corporate to Canvas™ offer?
We specialize in private in-person events for team building, employee/client appreciation, club and association events, retreat activities, and fundraiser events. In March of 2020, we launched virtual team building called "Paint with me Online" to offer Zoom painting activities to remote groups.
Do you provide beverages and food for the event?
Corporate To Canvas does not provide beverages or food. We are happy to put you in touch with local catering companies or help to coordinate your event at a restaurant.
How long are classes and what painting activities are offered?
Most events are held on-location in your company's conference space or at the local resort/hotel where your team is meeting while in town.We can also coordinate to host an event at a rented location, event venue, or local restaurant.
What kind of equipment do I need to have?
For most corporate and fundraiser events, we request that you provide the tables and chairs for attendees. We have relationships with local party rental companies we can put you in touch with if you need extra seating. Table covers and all materials related to the painting class are provided by Corporate To Canvas.
Is painting experience necessary for an event?
No! Most attendees at our events have never painted (or haven't picked up a brush since high school art class). We guide all painters so they are comfortable and confident creating their artwork.
What kind of paint do you use?
Acrylic. This is a water-soluble, quick-drying paint. It can be used thickly or thinly depending on how much water is added. Once dry on the canvas, it becomes water-resistant and is similar to plastic.
Is Corporate To Canvas part of a franchise?
No, Corporate To Canvas is a privately owned business in San Diego, CA. This allows us the flexibility to customize a painting event that will meet the vision and needs of each company or organization.
What additional services do you offer?
1. Customized digital images created for social media and newsletters. 2. Printed posters and flyers to pass out at meetings or display in community space. 3. Basic event planning services: venue recommendations and site visits.
What equipment does Corporate To Canvas bring to the event?
Aprons, table covers, brushes (4 sizes), paint, water cups, paper towels, paint palettes, easels, canvas, table for the instructor. Additional studio lighting and a PA system are provided if necessary. We can also set up music through a bluetooth speaker.
What is the lead time for an event? Can it be booked on short-notice?
Two weeks is an ideal timeframe to create the custom artwork for your event, although most clients secure their date even further in advance. Short-notice and same-day options are available if they do not conflict with already scheduled events.
Can Corporate To Canvas teach paint and sip classes at my restaurant?
If it is a private event where you invite your staff and/or patrons, absolutely. However, we do not host classes that are open for public sign-up. We'd be happy to speak with you about being a potential venue for our private events, as well as put you in touch with a company that provides a public "Paint and Sip" service.
