Fun Team Building Activities
Paint and sip classes (or “paint parties”) are gaining popularity. Corporate to Canvas provides a similar experience but with a professional focus that often incorporates the team's values, mission, or product/services. Painting is a fun way to bring a team together in a collaborative and creative environment.

Corporate To Canvas™ offers a variety fun team building activities for private events:
Guided PaintingThis classic paint and sip class consists of step-by-step instruction from the artist.
This activity gets people chatting and excited about being creative as they all replicate the same painting (or use their artistic license to create a fun variation). The result is a wonderful masterpiece that can proudly be displayed in a cubicle or office to spark conversation and add cheer to the office space. The guided painting is our most popular activity! |
Collaborative PaintingThis team building activity begins with individual canvases that are attached together at the end to create one big painting. The final artwork is a great addition to the team's office space and the activity is a fun and interactive experience for all team members.
Please see the Collaborate Art Gallery for more examples and various ways this project can be approached. |
Painting SwapEach person begins with a blank canvas and follows the artist’s instructions. After a designated time, everyone swaps canvases and continues working on the next step with their new partially-painted canvas.
This 'game of telephone' will last multiple rounds and is a fun way to use planning, communication, and problem solving skills. In the last round, each team member goes back to their original painting to make the final touches. The result is a canvas painting that has multiple member contributions and is a true representation of teamwork! |
Custom Painting Activities
Painting activities are designed to meet company objectives. The ideas are endless and we can discuss the kind of project and duration that will fit best for your attendees.
Below are just a few examples from previous events: "Paint Your Pet Portrait" is a great option for smaller teams and has a very personal connection for each attendee. This activity is three hours in duration. "Pop Art Logo / Icon" For this activity, everyone is assigned a different palette of paint colors. After collaborating with a colleague to determine which colors to mix, everyone paints their own unique image. Once the paintings are completed and a group photo is taken, the canvases are displayed together in one big colorful mural! This is a great option when time is limited. "Still Life in Your Style" Objects and visual concepts are curated to represent your company's products and values (this can be represented as a still life or one-page reference sheet). Everyone paints their canvas with objects that resonate most with them while receiving instruction and individualized support from the artist. This option really allows the individual to bring their creativity into the project while representing an aspect of their company or organization. |
